Before you meet

Chat within the app first to confirm details — what you're buying, price, and pickup time

Check the seller's profile — photos, their Spot description, email verification, and how long they've been active can tell you a lot

Trust your gut. If something feels off, it's okay to say no or ask more questions first

Choose a public, well-lit location whenever possible — a driveway, front porch, or local spot both of you know

Let a friend or family member know where you're going, especially for first-time meetups

Bring a friend along if it makes you more comfortable

Cropdrop doesn't process payments — agree on how you'll pay before you meet (cash, e-transfer, etc.)

Never send payment before seeing the product in person, unless you already know and trust the seller

You can report or block any user directly from their profile or a chat

Trust your instincts — you're never obligated to complete a pickup that doesn't feel right
